Our Welcome Back Party and the Official Book Launch of “On a Wing and a Prayer” by Gary James and Peter Barnes is two weeks tonight (Friday 20th August) and I have now have the following updates for you.
We will be in the upstairs room at the Club and doors will open at 7.00pm FOR A 7.30pm START UNTIL LATE.
Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome, including family and friends, no need for a babysitter, bring the kids with you!
All ADULT BRANCH MEMBERS will receive a voucher for a FREE DRINK (pint, single spirit, glass of wine).
If you want to buy Gary and Peters book the cost is £15.00 CASH which is reduced from the usual selling price. So Gary knows roughly how many books to bring can you let me know if you want one in advance please.
As well as Gary and Peter being there we will also have ALEX WILLIAMS and PAUL LAKE. Alex and Paul will not be doing a Q&A, they will be there in a social capacity.
When Gary and Peter have finished (approx. 8.30pm to 9.00pm) to help us party the night away we will have former MARY D’s DJ PHIL COE who will also have Karaoke for any budding X Factor contestants.
Martin will also have his usual FUN & GAMES throughout the night with plenty of cash prizes.
As you will know this is the night before our first home game against Norwich (3.00pm KO – it’ll never catch on) so what a great way of starting the new Season celebrating the Champions of England with great family and friends.
