A Stockport-based trampoline club for disabled children is jumping for joy after receiving a cash boost of over £2,500 courtesy of a local group of Manchester City fans.

The Reddish branch of the MCFC Supporters’ Club adopted Jump Space as its Charity of the Year for the 2012/13 season, and pledged its support by organising a variety of fundraising events, including a Manchester-to-Wembley sponsored cycle ride and an end-of-season party.  Earlier this month, representatives from the charity, including its patron, ex-MCFC star Paul Lake, were invited to the branch’s HQ to accept a cheque for £2625.
